Urgent Prayer Request! for our brothers and sisters in India..

Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness. Matt.5:10

The following is a note from a Brother in Christ:

"At the very outset we want to thank you for lifting India up in your prayers. As you know, Christians in many parts of India are facing rigorous persecution. It is heartbreaking and painful to see our brethren suffer for their faith in Jesus Christ. The States of Orissa, Karnataka and Madhya Pradesh are the prime targets.."

"Hindu fundamentalists are accusing Christians for forcible conversion and conversion by enticement .Thus they are provoking the masses against the Christians."

"We believe that Our Lord has allowed this to happen for some specific reasons. The churches (all denominations including Catholics)are coming together. God is mobilizing prayer and strengthening the church to stand in faith. God has shown to the leaders that the persecution is going to last for some time yet God will use this persecution to bring revival in India. He is going to release thousands of young people to bring the good news to the Indian people."

Please pray for:

• Violence Against Christians In Orissa And Karnataka Will Stop. State Governments Will Not Support Hindu Extremist Groups
• Christians in Orissa will be protected so that they will be able to return to their villages .
• Media will cover the news .
• God will comfort and provide for His people and be their Immanuel God .
• God will restore them ( many are homeless and starving ) and rehabilitate them .
• God may give wisdom to Indian national leaders to support and bring peace in the country .
• God May Take Control Of Hindu Extremist.
• Wisdom For Leaders Coordinating Meetings With The Government Officials And Political Leaders.
• God May Protect The Christians All Over India And Bring Unity And Love In The Body Of Christ.
• God will orchestrate the whole situation to bring revival in India . May the name of our Lord be glorified and honored.
