"Betty and I enjoyed the ministry in Honduras. Especially the trip to buy paint with Pastor Marida on Sunday afternoon. Reflecting back on that it was a great experience. Also, what an honor to have the opportunity to minister to the Pastors during the Seminar at the Bible School. Their questions let me know that the material that we shared was touching their lives and helping them with some of the financial struggles that everyone face. I trust that we planted some seeds of stewardship that will bless them in the future.
Again, Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the wonderful ministry of Charlie's Lunch." - Pastor Glenn R. Beaver
"The Pastor’s conference was very well attended and there was a manifest hunger and appreciation among the pastors for instruction and encouragement that would help them in their pastoral duties of caring for their congregations. It was a joy to work with Sam and the Charlie’s Lunch team and to have such a wonderful team of hard workers from Harvest Christian Center."

"My most memorable moment was just as we were leaving the Nueva Vision Church where we had been working all week. It was Thursday afternoon, and Marcos and I had gone to the little home behind the church to visit with Karol Rodriguez and her children: Ariel, Stefani, Fernando and Emily Rodriguez. You may remember Stefani especially, she was the little girl with the BIG smile who was always at the church and appears in just about every photo Marcos took! Her older brother Ariel is a quiet boy who has a shy smile. We because close to this family, but I had no idea how close until I got ready to get on the bus that Thursday. I had run back to the Church to make sure I hadn't forgotten anything, and as I walked towards the bus I was surrounded by children from the VBS. Out of nowhere came Ariel, who threw his arms around me and burst into tears. Needless to say, I will never forget that moment! I believe that God brought us to these very special people in Honduras at just the right time, and my life will never be the same. All I have to do is look at the pictures Marcos took and remember how blessed I was by our time with them." - Carol Casiano
